Depp opens up about daughter's illness

Actor Johnny Depp has spoken about his daughter's recent illness, describing it as the "darkest moment".

The 44-year-old actor told Entertainment Weekly: "Now every single millisecond is a mini-celebration."

Lily-Rose, Depp's daughter with singer Vanessa Paradis, was admitted to a London hospital for about three weeks after being struck down with a mystery illness.

Depp said: "Every time we get to breathe in and exhale is a huge victory. She pulled through beautifully, perfectly, with no lasting anything."

"To say it was the darkest moment, that's nothing. It doesn't come close to describing it. Words are so small."
