Dissidents - Firearms found in Craigavon search

Police arrested a 47-year-old man in Craigavon, Co Armagh, yesterday evening in connection with dissident republican activity.

He was detained during an operation in the Meadowbrook area.

In a series of searches, detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit recovered two firearms, a quantity of ammunition and items relating to terrorist activity.

Minor disturbances were reported in the locality during the raid.
